Ng and Lung are two good friends and in the same profession as stuntmen. Little does Lung realize that his own father is a messenger of death. Lung's father is ordered to collect Ng's soul, he purposefully fails. Ng lives on but doesn't know that Lung's father has shortened his own life to make amends. Lung is in great grief. An artist called Lo Ngan comforts him and they eventually fall in love. A series of strange things happen, Lung discovers his own horror that he has inherited his father's "job". He is even ordered to collect his lover's soul. A rebellion takes place...
