I'm always worried that if I go somewhere, no one will speak English well enough to understand me. Or that my English won't be good enough for them to understand me. How's English in Korea? I don't know any Korean, of course.
Look, I think you'll find English to be somewhat accessible everywhere, and you won't get lost no matter your English level. But I'd still suggest learning some basic Korean phrases, just in case.
I agree. I generally like to learn at least a few words before going to a country, to feel a little more confident. For example, now I’m planning a trip to Korea and have already found various articles and materials like how to say i love you in Korean. Will this be useful to me? I don’t know, but I was interested in reading and remembering.
